BYE BYE JAPAN - 日本、さよなら

So, I moved back to Europe. No more Japan photos but I will try to keep this blog updated with other photos of my new adventure in Sweden!

Bye bye Japan, I will come back soon to visit you.

Hitachi seaside park ひたち海浜公園

I once saw a post somewhere on the internet with photos of places around the world, entitled “Places to see before you die”. Among all the amazing nature photography I saw, there was this one of bright red bushes, it really caught my eye. *this* can’t be a real photo! And yes it was. I looked for the place and found it.

It took about 3 hours from Tokyo but it was well worth it. I have never seen such shades of pink, red, magenta and brown. It all looked surreal.

Nikko - 日光

First visit to Nikko, before my trip back to Europe. One of the loveliest places I have seen in Japan, it will stay in my memory for a long, long time.

The golden hour

Sunday in Hayama. Warm and beautiful.

Shinjuku HDR

There is a special time during the day, in which the air is so clear and crisp that everything looks like an HDR photo. I love Shinjuku during this magic moment.

Hakone

Even if I could only visit for just a few hours, Hakone captured me. A short boat ride and  a long walk. The perfect escape.

Vanilla candle

When a candle comes with such a pretty bag, what to do, what to do.

Sumidagawa Fireworks ↑ 隅田川花火大会

The tradition of the Sumidagawa fireworks festival can be traced back to 1732” and on the 28th of July, 2012 I was part of it.

Anti-nuclear demo, sunsets and stress free time.

More packaging love

It’s a mochi rice cake wrapped in a shirt. A shirt! And it has a necktie, too.
